Nou Sao, 100 years of age, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

Funeral service for Mrs. Sao will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Visitation with Mrs. Sao’s family will take place Friday, January 25, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Sao was born October 29, 1918 in Cambodia to the late Chan Sao and the late Sor Keo Sao. She was the widow of Kong Sek.

Mrs. Sao is survived by her son, Sakun Sek and his wife Ry Chhim of Rock Hill; her daughter, Saran Sek and husband, Pheng Ngnet of Canada; she was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren and great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sao was preceded in death by two sons, Saly Sek and Saroeurn Sek.
